We recently had the pleasure of working with RMB Homes on the construction of our forever home and couldn’t be happier! We are empty nesters and roughly four years from retirement. We are at the stage in our lives where we know what we want and what we won’t settle on. We visited several builders, sites, and communities in our search in VA and Northeast NC. It was shocking how many builders didn’t allow customizations and the sites were barren except dirt and concrete. Luckily, we found RMB homes and a wooded site of 3-1/2 acres in Camden NC.

From the very beginning, we were impressed how the builder, Randy, sat down with us and was open to our customizations. On the fly, he moved the kitchen configuration and added a covered porch. This was just the beginning. We joked that we became “those clients”, requesting change after change. He took it all in stride, unruffled, and displayed a remarkable willingness to discuss and implement alterations. From a tiled frameless glass shower, freestanding soaking tub, three tiled niches, gas double oven, tiled backsplash and custom kitchen cabinets that went all the way to ceiling, he and his team delivered.

Seven months after moving into our home, we still absolutely love it. There are no regrets except maybe a few more customizations and upgrades we would have liked to add. The overall process was great, and we highly recommend RMB Homes.
